The Parent Trap: Lord of the Twins Trilogy

Julia and her long time creative partner Nicole Pascaretta are co-creators of The Parent Trap: Lord of the Twins Trilogy: a three part epic staged theatrical retelling of The Parent Trap (1998 version) through the storytelling lens of LOTR. Directed and choreographed by James Quesada, it’s part storytelling and commentary and part fantastical reimagining, with the girls jumping from character to character, narrator to self. It is highly physical and meticulously scripted and choreographed.

It currently has a home at Caveat in New York City, where you can find it every month. It’s been featured in variety shows in Detroit and NYC, and had a sold out run at Go Comedy Improv Theater. It was a headliner for the Detroit Women of Comedy Festival in May 2022. Evil stepmother herself Meredith Blake (aka the incredible Elaine Hendrix) came to a show in NYC and raved about it on instagram, calling it a “must see for your 411”.
